how can your tub drain to quickly, just wait until your done get out of the tube then drain it. If your tube just drains by itself take a shower.

You could try a suction cup.
Or you could try colored tape available at hardware stores.

Just take 100% silicone caulk (kitch bath) and apply a blob to the overflow vent. Let dry 24 hrs and there you go. The caulk is removable because it will always remain flexible. Will not harden.

I install these tubs. Its hard to believe someone would put a drain in so low it would kill the purpose of the tub! But probably the best way to save the tub is to find a person that works on fiberglass or refinishes tubs. If you cant find one yourself, call a few plumbing co’s that do new construction or the manufacturer. There are people that can patch the hole and re install the overflow in the proper place for a fraction of the cost of replacing it. Most of them do a good enough job that you wouldnt know it was done. Other than that caulking a plate or patch over the exsisting one and redrilling a new one this is about the only realistic alternitive. You might be able to use the old hole for a light or find a false tub part to cover the old hole and make it look like it was supposed to be there, then just drill a new hole for the overflow.
